Dropp offers a solution for equestrian surfaces that provides arenas with elasticity and increased comfort for both horses and riders, all made from recycled materials.

Thanks to the fibers present in our Yellow Moss (a recycled product made from shredded, worn-out tennis balls, composed of 80% natural material), the need for constant watering is reduced, saving water consumption and thus maintenance costs.

Yellow Moss has proven to be an excellent additive to riding arena sand for both outdoor and indoor arenas. It binds well with sand, keeping the surface fluffier for longer, and the rubber granules (natural rubber) provide the desired elasticity. It can also be added to arenas that already contain geotextiles.

In the Czech Republic, dozens of horses are already riding on Yellow Moss, mainly in show jumping arenas whose owners care about the high professional quality of the arena.

We can advise you on how to calibrate the additive to your sand. Installation is simple—just spread it over the arena surface, and the horses will work it in. No special equipment is needed. If you have a cultivator, it can be used.

It has also been tested to add Yellow Moss to arena mixes that already contain geotextiles. Horses are not bothered by the yellow color, which is noticeable in the sand for a short time after installation. After integrating Yellow Moss, the arena regains its natural sandy color.
